Action8 is a printing, exhibition and corporate gifts company based in Jeddah. This page explains what we collect when you use action8.co, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We’ve tried to keep it in plain language instead of legal padding.

What we collect, and when

When you ask for a quote or use a contact form

Your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you type into the message box. If you’re asking about a print or exhibition job, that usually includes details about your company and the work you need. We use this to reply to you and prepare the quote — nothing else.

When you place an order

Your name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, and what you ordered. We currently accept cash on delivery, which means this website never stores card or bank account details at any stage.

When you create an account

Your name, email and a password. The password is stored scrambled (hashed) — we can’t read it, and neither can anyone who works here. Accounts exist so you can track orders and, for wholesale customers, see your agreed pricing.

When you subscribe to our newsletter

Just your email address. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and it works.

Automatically, while you browse

Our server and our security plugin record your IP address, browser type and the pages you opened. This is standard server logging and it’s mainly there to block attacks and spam.

What we don’t do

Worth saying plainly, because a lot of sites do the opposite:

We don’t run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising tracker on this website.
We don’t sell your information. Not to advertisers, not to anyone.
We don’t send your details to data brokers or marketing lists.
We don’t build advertising profiles about you.

Cookies

The cookies on this site are the functional kind — the ones that make it work. They remember what’s in your cart, keep you logged in, save your wishlist, and help pages load faster.

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. If you block cookies in your browser, most of the site still works, but the cart and login will not.

Who else touches your data

We keep this list short on purpose:

Our hosting provider — the website and its database sit on their servers.
Our email service — delivers order confirmations and replies.
Our security plugin — screens traffic and blocks attacks.
Delivery companies — get the name, address and phone number needed to deliver your order. Nothing more.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or if we need to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep things

Order and invoice records — kept as long as Saudi tax and commercial record-keeping rules require.
Quote requests and contact messages — kept while the enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us.
Newsletter subscriptions — until you unsubscribe.
Security and server logs — kept for a short period, then overwritten.

Your rights

Under Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law, you can ask us to:

tell you what personal data we hold about you
correct anything that’s wrong
delete your data, where we’re not legally required to keep it
stop using your data for marketing
give you a copy of the data you provided to us

Email talk@action8.co and we’ll deal with it. We may ask you to confirm who you are first — that’s to stop someone else requesting your data.

If you’re based in the EU or UK and you contact us, similar rights apply to you under GDPR.

Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), sits behind a security firewall, and only a small number of people have access to the admin area. We’d rather be honest than reassuring, though: no website is perfectly secure. If anything ever happens that puts your data at risk, we’ll tell you.

Children

This is a business-to-business website. It isn’t aimed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top.
