Printing on flexible materials, cured instantly with UV light
In UV roll-to-roll printing, the material is fed from a roll through the printer and the ink is cured by UV light as it is printed. The ink sits on the surface and hardens straight away, so prints are ready to handle quickly and hold sharp detail and strong colour.
Because the process does not rely on the material soaking up ink, it works on a much wider range of flexible media than conventional printing — transparent films, coated and uncoated vinyl, fabric for flags, backlit films and specialty label stocks.
Our machine runs three Epson UV printheads, which lets us handle production runs quickly while keeping text, fine lines and small details crisp.
CMYK alone cannot print white — that is where most clear and dark jobs fail
Standard printing builds colours from cyan, magenta, yellow and black, and relies on white paper to show white and to make colours look bright. On clear film, coloured stock or dark material there is no white underneath, so colours look faded and see-through, and anything meant to be white simply does not appear.
